International Trips

In August 2023 we have over 30 young people aged 14 to 17 embarking on an international trip of a lifetime. They need your support to help build their dream.

Project 2023: Scouts from across Hampshire embark on a three week expedition through Europe, stopping at a number of Scout campsites to meet Scouts from other countries, sightseeing and taking part in as many adventurous activities that we can find.

WSJ South Korea: More than 40,000 Scouts from all over the world will gather in Korea for the 25 World Scout Jamboree. The World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) is a World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) event, it happens every four years, each time hosted by a different country.

How can I help?

Our Scouts are busy fundraising to be able to attend either Project 23 or the WSJ, raising between £2000 -£4000 respectively. This is a huge effort for teenagers.
Perhaps you have benefited from being a Scout when you were younger and would like to give back, or maybe you attended a jamboree before and would like pass on that experience to someone else. Whoever you are, we welcome your donation, you're awesome.
You can donate whatever you can afford, from as little as £10. It all helps. Thank you!

Where will my donation go?

Your donation will be added to Southampton City Scouts international fund. 100% of the money in this fund will be divided between all the young people attending international trips in 2023.
Unless you tell us, we will share your name with the Scouts so they can pass on their thanks. You will also be able to track our adventure on social media in Summer 2023.
